One More Sip of Coffee
The aim of this project to understand and question the difference between the luxury of wanting a beverage and the dependency of needing it.

The first part of the project is a quiz to assess the level of addiction to caffeine. An individual is able to make this decision depending on their score (high score has more 6+ Yes answers)

Adjacent to this is a series of ceramic objects. If you feel the 'need' for coffee, you are rewarded with a cup that has a flaw in it. (Cracked, split in half, bottomless). If you just 'want' to drink coffee because you enjoy it - a wholesome cup if turned your way.
As part of the process, I created a coffee booklet to break open this topic and gain a better understand as how and why we introduce coffee into our lives. This was done through the mediums of desk research, interviews (conducted in Mumbai and Eindhoven) and photography. Along with this, there are graphical experiments in creating a typeface inspired by the liquidness and translucency of the coloured liquid. Posters with the text 'One More Sip of Coffee' were created using silk screen printing.
